500 days of summer!
well, when u first look at the title, u might think,"what a typical romance comedy again?". however, the movie proved me wrong. with their beginning. a big capital "B***H" was shown on the screen, and it's definitely not the usual happy happy couples.
the movie shown a story about how a boy meet a girl, that are not always happily ever after.
500 days? do u think it's about how sweet they were? yea, u r right, part of it actually. the movie shown the 500 remarkable days, like how they met, how they had fun in Ikea, how they getting together, and eventually, how they break up and how the guy moved on.
the guy was definitely falling in love with the girl, Summer. he tried to deny it initially, but he couldn't resist her. they finally got together, but Summer refuse to acknowledge him as the boyfriend. she said she didn't acknowledge anyone as the boyfriend/girlfriend before. she always need a sense of security and she thinks that the guy couldn't give her what she wanted. then they broke up, and the guy spent lotsa time to get rid of her.
"i have never told anyone about this before." she captured his heart by telling him her secret. and he started to fall for her since then
however, what made the story even heartbreaking, was when the girl finally married to some other people. she said she never believed in love, never want to be anyone's girlfriend, yet she became somebody's wife.
she still didn't acknowledge him as her boyfriend, even though they already had sex.
i felt for the guy. he's just an ordinary guy, not very good looking, not having a really impressive job, always lose in everything he does, especially in loving people.
it was indeed impressive, especially their technique. they didn't show the 500 days accordingly. that gonna make it boring. so they show the days randomly. either before broke up or after broke up. also, i like their split scenes too! there's a scene, where they shown the expectation and reality. it was...irony i would say.
the sound effect were good. are they country musics? hmmmm...
even rotten tomatoes have positive reviews on it. see here. if u wana watch it, better be quick. it's now shown in KLCC only.
i rate it 8 over 10.
next, comes to the latest animation movie.
"cloudy with a chance of meatballs"
just like other animation, it's kinda ridiculous, yet hilariously funny. it's indeed a very wise choice if u wana watch some relaxing movie.
Flint, being the eccentric but passionate scientist. that designed machine that can convert water into different kind of food! wowww, it sounds so tempting to me huh? as i love eating but lazy to cook. hahaha...
anyway, the storyline was really creative. can u imagine burgers falling from the sky? or ice cream snow? playing ice cream snow falls? or juicy steaks falling from the sky? awwww, im starting to drool thinking of this.
but, how about u were chased by some giant meatballs? stucked ur head in a giant macaroni? sat on a yatch made by gigantic toast? hmmmph, that doesn't sound so good right? hahaha...
so as i said, it's really funny, and worth to watch it, if u really need some time to laugh out loud and release all ur stress! happy ending as usual, and i truly love it!
i felt super hungry after watching that. so decided to have some steak, since it looks so appetizing in the movie. hahahaha...thanks baby for the meal!
ohh soree soree, all in all, i rate it 7 over 10!
